More about me...
I am a full stack developer with 4+ years of experience building and maintaining a production SaaS platform serving 300+ real estate clients across Canada. My work spans backend PHP systems, MySQL database design and optimization, AWS infrastructure, and frontend JavaScript, with a focus on owning features end-to-end rather than staying in one lane.
I have a genuine interest in how systems work at a deeper level. Some of the most satisfying work I have done has been diagnosing production issues, tracing a problem to its root cause, and putting in a fix that holds up long-term rather than just patching the surface.
Outside of my day-to-day work I have been expanding my skills actively. I am co-leading a headless CMS project built on Next.js and Payload CMS, which has pushed me into TypeScript and component-based React development in a real project context. I have also been building with Python through an OpenAI-powered metadata generation tool shipped into production, and I am currently working through backend fundamentals including Go
I am looking to move into an engineering environment with more structure and collaboration than a small agency setting offers. I learn best by working alongside people who are more experienced, and I take code quality and maintainability seriously.
